Calibration Gas Mixtures in High Pressure Refillable Cylinders
Many gases and liquids can be mixed Gravimetrically to ISO 6142 to give plus or minus 2% accuracy , which is referred to as a Certified Standard or plus or minus 1% accuracy which is referred to as a Primary Standard. A large percentage of calibration gases used in industry are “Certified Standards” but “Primary Standards “ are used for ultra accurate applications.
The following can be mixed together in steel cylinders;

Reactive gases such as:
Hydrogen Sulphide ,
Carbonyl Sulphide
Carbon Disulphide
and a wide range of Thiols ( Mercaptans )
Sulphur Dioxide,
Nitric Oxide ,
Nitrogen Dioxide
Ammonia
Chlorine of must be contained in an aluminium cylinder for best stability.
